Regarding "Free Admission" - Why is admission free for this performance?

The process of bringing Palestinian artists to New York for this production has been very challenging because, as you may know, travel for Palestinians is very compromised.  The issue is politically and emotionally complicated for many institutions and individuals in this country.  Because of the extreme difficulty in getting work Visas for these artists, our production will be free to the public.  I believe in this project with all my heart.  This production has a chance to communicate a very important message about the reality in Palestine.
La MaMa has shown immense support and understanding for this situation by allowing free admission. Without this, our production might not be possible.
